The Ohio National Guard receives frequent requests for assistance with film projects, music videos and television productions. Types of assistance most often requested include: uniformed personnel, aircraft, military vehicles and location rental. For consideration of National Guard participation, requests for assistance must be submitted no less than 60 days in advance through this office to National Guard Bureau Public Affairs. NGB-PA will then forward the request, if approved, to the appropriate Army or Air Force entertainment industry liaison.

Local approval is possible for the use of some Ohio National Guard facilities for filming projects unrelated to the military.
