Requesting a Flyover

NEW PROCEDURES FOR REQUESTING A FLYOVER.

Beginning in January 2007, the Air Force Public Affairs Office updated the Aerial Event website. This is important because it changes the way you request a flyover. The entire approval process is now web-based.

DIRECTIONS:

1. Access their website at: www.airshows.pa.hq.af.mil

2. Click the red button labeled "New Requests"

3. Follow the directions.

As a reminder, the new website requires ALL requestors to submit and track your request online. There is still a requirement for a signed copy to be sent via fax to the FAA and then to the Air Force. The Air Force fax number is (703) 693-9601.

Fax your completed form to the FAA office that serves the county in which the event will take place.

Cleveland FSDO, Great Northern Technology Park II, 25249 Country Club Blvd., North Olmsted, OH 44070, Phone (440) 686-2001

Note: Cleveland FAA policy requires an original DD Form 2535 mailed to them before they will approve a request.

Columbus FSDO, 2780 Airport Drive, Suite 300, Columbus, OH 43219, Phone (614) 255-3120, FAX (614) 255-3159

Cincinnati FSDO, 4240 Airport Road, Cincinnati, OH 45226, Phone (513) 979-6400, FAX (513) 979-6420

Thank you for considering the Ohio National Guard for your activities. If you have any questions, please contact Mr. Bill Pierce at (614) 336-7000 or bill.pierce@tagoh.gov
