Event organizers should be aware that static display requests are subject to a number of restrictions and are supported
only where they do not impact operational mission accomplishment.
Anyone requesting a static display vehicle or aircraft must submit a request in writing to the Ohio National Guard Public Affairs Office, 2825 West Dublin Granville Rd., Columbus, Ohio 43235 or FAX (614) 336-7410. Call the Public Affairs Office with any questions at (614) 336-7000. The request should be submitted a minimum of 90 days prior to the event to be considered for support. Fewer than 90 days' notice greatly reduces the chance that support will be available. Requests received 30 days or closer to the event will not be considered.
The Ohio National Guard may provide limited support when the activity stimulates patriotism, promotes public understanding of the problems of national security, or fosters public appreciation of our national heritage.
Military helicopters and vehicles are available for static display from the Ohio Army National Guard's inventory. Tanks are not available for static display.
Ohio Air National Guard static display aircraft are also available for largely attended air shows.
